Vista House

Vista House

Architecture & Conservation | Multnomah County, OR | In-Progress

One of the most well-known buildings in Oregon, Vista House occupies a dramatic site atop Crown Point along the Columbia River Gorge east of Portland. The tourist facility was dedicated in 1918 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department engaged ARG to identify appropriate repair procedures to address longstanding water intrusion without adversely affecting the sandstone building’s historic features.
